Who can become a mason?
Freemasonry welcomes men from many backgrounds and professions who share a commitment to integrity, respect, and service.
To be eligible to petition for membership in a Texas Masonic lodge, a man must:
-
Be at least 18 years of age
-
Believe in a Supreme Being
-
Be of good moral character
No man is ever asked to become a Mason. He must seek membership on his own initiative.

Becoming Part of Our Brotherhood
At Solidarity Lodge, membership means more than attending meetings. Our brothers participate in:
-
Masonic education and personal development
-
Charitable and community initiatives
-
Fellowship events and family activities
-
Mentorship and leadership opportunities within the lodge
Our lodge is proud of its unique heritage, having been founded by Filipino-American and Texas Masons, and continues to welcome men from diverse backgrounds who share our commitment to brotherhood and service.

Become a Mason
Interested in Solidarity?
Freemasonry is one of the world’s oldest fraternal organizations, dedicated to building better men through personal growth, fellowship, and service to others. At Solidarity Lodge No. 1457 A.F. & A.M., we welcome men who are seeking to improve themselves, contribute to their communities, and form lasting bonds of brotherhood.
Membership in our lodge offers the opportunity to learn timeless moral lessons, develop leadership skills, and participate in meaningful charitable and community activities.

What to expect?
The journey of Freemasonry is built around three symbolic stages known as degrees:
-
Entered Apprentice
-
Fellowcraft
-
Master Mason
Each degree teaches moral lessons through symbolism, tradition, and shared experience. These degrees are designed to encourage self-reflection, personal growth, and a deeper understanding of the values that unite Masons around the world.
